New machines
New pinball machines, arcade cabinets and jukeboxes from manufacturers like Stern, American Pinball, Chicago Gaming and Jersey Jack carry the original manufacturer's warranty(typically 90 days on the playfield and 1 year on electronic boards from the date of delivery). The full warranty terms ship with the machine and are also available on the manufacturer's website.
Restored vintage machines
Every restored vintage machine we sell comes with a limited 90-day Vintage Hall Games warranty covering:
- Electronic boards (CPU, driver, sound, display).
- Mechanical assemblies (flippers, pop bumpers, slingshots).
- Power supplies and cabinet wiring we touched during restoration.
We will repair or replace any covered component free of charge — you cover return shipping for boards, we cover the replacement shipment back. For larger issues we'll dispatch a tech or provide remote diagnostics.
What's not covered on vintage machines
- Cosmetic items prone to wear: rubber rings, balls, lamps, decals and cabinet artwork.
- Components clearly disclosed as “original / unrestored” in the listing.
- Damage from misuse, modification, or third-party repairs.
- Damage from power surges (use a surge protector!).
- Issues caused by relocation after we delivered — moving a pinball machine improperly can crack solder joints and bend plumbs.
Parts & accessories
New parts: 30-day return / 90-day defect replacement. Used / salvage parts: sold as-is unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Extended warranty
We offer optional extended coverage at the time of purchase that bumps the vintage machine warranty to 12 months. Email us for a quote on a specific machine.
How to file a claim
- Email service@vintagehallgames.com with your order number, a description of the fault, and (where possible) a photo or video.
- Our techs will respond within 1 business day with first-pass diagnostics — many issues are solved with a setting or a small adjustment.
- If we need to replace a part or board, we'll ship the replacement and email a return label for the failed unit.
Transferability
The Vintage Hall Games warranty is for the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this warranty limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your jurisdiction.
