Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we get most. Can't find yours? Email hello@vintagehallgames.com.

Do I need to create an account to buy?

No. Guest checkout is fully supported. We just need an email address so we can send you the order confirmation and shipping updates.

Are your vintage machines fully restored?

Every vintage machine we list states its restoration scope clearly: 'shopped' (cleaned, tested, rubbers and bulbs replaced), 'partial restoration' (cabinet touched up, playfield clear-coated), or 'full restoration' (cabinet repainted, playfield swapped or restored, all electronics rebuilt). Photos and condition notes are on every product page.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the destination, machine size and delivery option (standard freight vs white-glove). For machines, expect $300–$900 within the continental US. International shipping is quoted on request.

What's white-glove delivery?

Our preferred option for full-size machines: we crate, ship, then a two-person team uncrates inside your home, sets the machine up, levels it, plugs it in and verifies gameplay before they leave. End-to-end accountability — no drop-and-go pallets.

How long until my machine arrives?

In-stock machines ship in 5–10 business days (we run a 4-hour playtest before crating) and freight transit is typically 1–2 weeks domestically. Expect 3–5 weeks total from order to delivery.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards via Paytm. We can also accept bank transfer for larger orders — email us if you'd prefer that route.

Do you offer financing?

We partner with third-party financiers for purchases over $2,000. Email us with the machine you're interested in and we'll send you a financing application link.

What's your warranty?

New machines carry the manufacturer's warranty (typically 90 days playfield, 1 year electronics). Restored vintage machines carry our own 90-day limited warranty on electronics and major mechanical assemblies. Full details on the Warranty page.

Can I return a machine if I change my mind?

Yes — within 7 days of delivery, in original condition, subject to a 15% restocking fee. Return freight is your responsibility for change-of-mind returns. Defective or mis-described machines: we cover everything. Full details on the Returns page.

What happens if my machine arrives damaged?

Inspect the crate before signing. Photograph any visible crate damage and note it on the delivery receipt. Email us photos within 72 hours and we'll handle the freight claim and either ship parts, dispatch a tech, or replace the unit.

Do you service machines you didn't sell?

Yes. Our techs work on any machine — pinball, arcade, jukebox, slot — regardless of where you bought it. Email service@vintagehallgames.com for a quote.

How do I move a pinball machine?

Carefully — and with the head folded down. Improper moves crack solder joints and damage the playfield. If you're moving across town we strongly recommend our local-delivery team handle it. Long-distance moves: insured freight in a proper crate.
